This is the beginning of my list of hints & tips.
 
To reduce the cluttered look on your refrigerator, post important notes inside a pantry or cupboard door. You can attach a metal cookie sheet to the inside of the door with a few screws. For a bulletin board you can use a simple piece of cork board attached to the inside of another door. Then you can use push pins or magnets to keep track of your notes.
Keep a list of items you need to stock up on. This reduces the time it takes to create a grocery list.
Keep an airtight container or a ziplock freezer bag in the freezer to add little bits of leftover vegetables to. When the bag is full, use chicken or beef stock to make a pot of soup with the leftovers.
