We are rejoicing here in our assembly today!
Several days ago during the work day, Kevin received a text message from Drew. It said he was feeling the spirit really strong. We have been praying about it, and Kevin talked to Drew about how he’d know without a shadow of a doubt when it was time to be baptized.
Thursday of this last week Kevin and I both felt like Drew would go to Brother David to give his hand in baptism. Of course, we didn’t mention that to Drew. God’s timing is everything. Bro. David and Sis Pam couldn’t be here when Lisa had the baby… If they had been here, they would already be back home. They were here this weekend, and that gave Drew the opportunity to go to David, as we felt he would.
Drew gave his hand last night. So we all met up at the church for the baptism. Lisa and baby girl came out too. It was baby girl’s first outing.
Drew was baptized and they had done the laying on of the hands, when Mike stepped forward and asked Bro. Merl to baptize him. I tell ya, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house….
I feel so very blessed…
Five of my six children have been drawn into the faith, and are living the faith. I truly have so much to be thankful for. We are waiting and praying for Brandon…

I feel so blessed tonight. Lisa gave birth to a beautiful baby girl today. Mommy and baby are doing great. Baby girl didn’t even have a name until hours before she was born. She is beautiful. Oh, I may have already said that.
Unlike her blonde headed big brother, she’s got dark hair… and it looks like she may be taking after this grandma with a head full of curls. She’s a chubby little girl. Simply precious…
Grandpa and I came home a couple hours after baby was born. We didn’t leave mommy and daddy alone. The midwives are still there, and all five brothers and sisters are back home, and so is their other grandma.
When we were leaving, there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky and the thunder was rolling. It felt like the perfect ending to a perfectly wonderful day.

On the way home from church tonight, the moon was rising up just behind a mountain. It was an amazing sight… much more like a sunrise than a moon rise. LOL Moonrise… is there such a word? I had my elderly aunt with me. Instead of taking her directly home, we went for a drive and found the perfect place to park and see the moon. We had a nice little visit in the quiet of the night, as we sat there watching the beauty of it all unfold before us.
One more thing to be thankful for today…
